This Western Union telegraph apparatus was one of a wide variety of items at the Hanna’s Town Antiques & Collectibles market on May 14 in Hempfield.

Treasures from the past will be available for browsing and buying Sunday during the latest Antiques & Collectibles Sale at Historic Hanna’s Town.

The market is open from 7:30 a.m. through early afternoon on the grounds of the 18th century community that served as the first seat of Westmoreland County. The property, now a county park, features reconstructed and relocated log buildings and also houses the headquarters of the Westmoreland County Historical Society.

Parking is available at the site, 3 miles north of Greensburg, at 809 Forbes Trail Road in Hempfield. An admission fee of $3 per car benefits the historical society and Forbes Road firefighters.

A previous sale attracted more than 150 vendors. Prospective vendors can call 724-836-1800 for event guidelines.

Additional sale dates are Aug. 13, Sept. 10 and Oct. 8.
