Visitors got to explore Greensburg's art scene Saturday
Visitors to downtown Greensburg on Saturday were invited to explore the city’s arts scene during the annual Greensburg ArtsWalk.
The Westmoreland Museum of American Art played host to a poetry reading by Greensburg Salem School District students. There also were art displays by students from the Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center and from the Hempfield Area and Franklin Regional school districts.
Creativity also was on display along Wilcox Way, between the Palace Theatre S&T Bank Courtyard and the Union Trust Building, in the Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s Art in the Alley.
Seton Hill University’s Art Centers offered art exhibits and demonstration as well as vocal, instrumental and musical theater performances.
The self-guided event featured additional live music, crafts and a food truck.
