Pennsylvania Lottery officials will recognize another $1 million winner from Westmoreland County at the Shop’n Save in Latrobe on Wednesday.

Diane Babbin will be presented with a commemorative check after winning $1 million the “Millionaire Maker” scratch-off game.

Western Pennsylvania has seen a number of sizable lottery winners this spring. Nick Pletcher of Mt. Pleasant won $1 million in late March, a Shop’n Save customer in Shaler sold a $3 million winning ticket in late April, and $1 million tickets were sold earlier this spring in both Charleroi and Robinson.

Scratch-off prizes expire a year from the game’s end-sale date, which is posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery website. Winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the lottery at 800-692-7481, officials said.
