Work on Interstate 70 in South Huntingdon will restrict westbound traffic to one lane for two overnight periods beginning Sept. 13.

The restriction will be in place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. between the Yukon and Mt. Pleasant/West Newton interchanges and is scheduled to end on the morning of Sept. 15, according to PennDOT.

Crews from Trumbull Corporation will be replacing joint seals in new concrete pavement.

The work is part of a $92.8 million project that includes reconstructing the Yukon and Madison interchanges on Interstate 70, widening a section of the interstate and replacing four bridges.
