Pittsburgh Police say that Breanna Didolce shot Jeremiah Anger Thursday at a residence in Carrick.

Pittsburgh Police have charged a woman with homicide for a deadly shooting in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood on Thursday morning.

Breanna Didolce, 23, of Pittsburgh was charged Thursday with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence for allegedly hiding the gun that was used, said police.

Police alleged that Didolce shot Jeremiah Anger around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday at a residence on Wynoka Street at Brownsville Road in Carrick, according to a criminal complaint.

Pittsburgh Public Safety told TribLive news partner WTAE that Anger called 911 to say he had been shot, and when first responders arrived, he was found on the first floor of a home with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Officials described the residence as a rental home with multiple private bedrooms and a common area.

Anger was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He later died in the hospital, said police.

Didolce told police she shot Anger, according to the criminal complaint. She said she shared a child with Anger, and that he threatened to throw her down the stairs.

Didolce was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
