Woman killed in McKeesport crash

A woman was killed Wednesday night when a vehicle she was riding in crashed into a utility pole in McKeesport.
Allegheny County 911 told Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV that police, fire and EMS units were called to the 2100 block of East Fifth Avenue around 6:15 p.m.
The victim was identified as Joanie McCalla, 49, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
It has not been determined if McCalla was driving the vehicle or was a passenger at the time of the crash.
