The popular television reality series “American Pickers” wants you.

And your antiques.

The History Channel’s hit series is returning to Pennsylvania in June to record new episodes and its staff is putting out the word that it’s in search of unique collections of relics.

“American Pickers” is a documentary series hosted by Mike Wolfe and Danielle Colby, who travel the around the country to buy or “pick” valuable antiques and collectible items for resale, their clients or their personal collections.

They talk to a wide range of people, from amateur and serious collectors to hoarders and people who’ve inherited more items than they know what to do with. The characters they talk with are as much a focus of the show as the items they discuss.

“We’re looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters with fascinating items and lots of them,” said Lynneisha Charles, associate producer of “American Pickers.”

“We are incredibly excited to continue connecting with the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking and are eager to hear their memorable stories,” she said.

She said the Pickers only “pick” private collections and nothing open to the public such as stores, malls and flea markets.

Collectors interested in being considered for the show should reach the producers by phone at 646-493-2184 or email at AmericanPickers@cineflix.com.
