Pa. man charged after threatening to behead President Joe Biden

A 37-year-old Luzerne County man was indicted by a federal grand jury after he made death threats toward President Joe Biden and his Cabinet members in April before an campaign event in Scranton, the Department of Justice said.
Jordan Gee, of Nanticoke, is accused of posting multiple threatening videos online before President Biden’s visit to Scranton on April 16, according to a press release.
In the videos, Gee said, “Joe Biden: I’m going to kill you and your whole cabinet,” and, “If you come to my city in Scranton, Pennsylvania, I’m cutting your (expletive) head off in front of everybody; I promise,” the Department of Justice said.
Gee, charged with threats against the President and interstate communications with a threat, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, a term of supervised release and a fine.
The United States Secret Service investigated the case, which is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kyle A. Moreno.
Gee’s sentencing will be determined after the judge imposes a finding of guilt and considers applicable federal sentencing statutes.
