The Pittsburgh-based Breweriana Collectibles Club is hosting an event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 25 in the parking lot at Penn Brewery on the North Side.

It’s the weekend. Here are some ways to spend it.

Art appreciation

The Ohringer gallery in Braddock will host an exhibition featuring the work of artist Cue Perry. It runs Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 640 Braddock Ave.

It will be Perry’s first solo exhibition. The works on display will showcase his thoughts and emotions during the past two years of his residency at the Ohringer, a space that houses a diverse community of artists. The hope is to inspire conversation about the power of art.

The event is free. Registration is recommended.

Pittsburgh Ballet

The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Open Air: A Series in Celebration of the Performing Arts returns this weekend at the Westinghouse Arts Academy in Wilmerding. It will include performances by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Company and PBT School students, as well as local performing arts organizations.

There will be dancing, entertainment and community activities. Everything kicks off at 11 a.m. Friday with the Westinghouse Summer Musical Theatre program preview.

The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will perform at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, there are six events, beginning with the Squonk Opera Interactive Play from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Open Air Barre Fitness by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre is at 4:30 p.m.

The Balafon West African Dance Ensemble will be on stage at noon Sunday.

The shows are free but registration is recommended to ensure seating availability.

Night Markets

The Squirrel Hill Night Market and the Downtown Night Market are both happening on Saturday.

Presented by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, the Night Market is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Market Square. The market will showcase artisan crafts, fashion, art, jewelry and photography, as well as food from independent local vendors.

There will also be performances by the Downtown Pittsburgh Sound series of free concerts.

The Squirrel Hill market, hosted by Uncover Squirrel Hill, is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. along Murray Avenue from Forbes Avenue to Beacon Street. It will feature more than 75 artists from I Made It! Market selling handmade wares. There will be live bands, art and other performances and food trucks.

Both markets are free.

Summer music festival

The 24th annual WYEP Summer Music Festival is Saturday on the Emerald Lawn at Schenley Plaza in Oakland. It is a celebration of national and Pittsburgh music.

Performances start at 3 p.m.

This year’s headliner is Nashville soul artist and Pennsylvania native Devon Gilfillian. Other national acts include Illiterate Light and Allison Ponthier. Pittsburgh artists The Ghost Club and Animal Scream will perform.

The WYEP Reimagination project artist Aryana Kapree will open the show.

There will be a Biergarten operated by The Porch restaurant. The event is free.

Beer collectibles here

The Pittsburgh-based Breweriana Collectibles Club is hosting an event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday in the parking lot at Penn Brewery on the North Side. Founded in 1972, the organization hosts several collectible shows a year at breweries, microbrew pubs, American Legions, VFWs and park pavilions.

Attendees can purchase or trade for collectible items such as beer cans, bottles, crowns, trays, signs and lights from antique pieces to current memorabilia.

Admission is $5.
