An amusement park ride turned out to be more frightening than expected for a pair of Florida tourists.

The ride operator was preparing to launch two men on a slingshot-style ride Saturday night at Cobra Adventure Park in Panama City Beach when one of the cables breaks, reported FOX-13.

An aquaintance happened the be recording video at the time and caught the moment the cable snapped.

Krissy Hurst of Havana, Florida posted the video to Facebook and told FOX-13 News she had ridden the ride many times but she and a friend had decided to skip it Saturday because of a bad feeling. They instead recorded the video of the men because the ride’s video system was not working, reported FOX-13.

“Y’all are gonna be screaming like sissies, watch,” one of the women says in the video just before the cable frays.

How are the guys doing?

“They are completely freaked out, still,” Hurst told FOX-13.
