An Arizona driver avoided a prickly situation when a cactus came through their car windshield.

A saguaro cactus smashed through the front glass and came to rest in the passenger area of the black Infinity sports car Wednesday morning, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

The car reportedly crossed the median and struck the giant desert plant. The driver appeared disoriented with minor injuries and was detained for further investigation after deputies observed signs and symptoms of impairment, according to the police report.

The driver’s identity wasn’t released.
