A man in Jacksonville, Florida, is keeping his car safe from the ravages of Hurricane Dorian by parking it in his kitchen.

Jessica Eldridge posted on Facebook that her husband, Patrick Eldridge, was “afraid his car might blow away” so he moved it indoors.

She explained that there are double doors that open wide enough to accommodate the diminutive car.

A commenter was concerned the Eldridges might be at risk from carbon monoxide in the exhaust.

Jessica put their fears to rest by explaining “we’re not driving it around the house. He just pulled it in and parked it.”

“My car is in the garage,” Jessica wrote.

Dorian is making its way up the Florida’s coast toward Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.

The storm devastated the Bahamas.
