Hobby Lobby faces calls for boycott over pro-Trump store display

Calls for a consumer boycott are being heard after a Hobby Lobby store was photographed with a pro-Trump display in one of its buildings.
The image, originally posted to Twitter of the undetermined location arts-and-crafts store, showed “USA vote Trump” in decorative letters at the end of an aisle.
Twitter user named Kari Brekke shared the tweet and by Tuesday afternoon, it had more than 16,000 retweets and 48,000 likes.

Business Insider reported Brekke was not the original photographer and took the photo from a Facebook group of the Lincoln Project, which is anti-Trump administration.
Whether the display with arranged by employees or customers is unknown, but the photo produced fresh efforts to stop shoppers from supporting the store, which is no stranger to controversy.
The growing #BoycottHobbyLobby took hold during the Labor Day weekend, but the chain had its supporters too.
