I would like to add three “Laurels” to your “Laurels and Lances” list:

To members of the Highlands High School Gold Club, who served a beautiful, delicious Thanksgiving dinner to area seniors. The musical groups were wonderful also. If parents ever wonder what their children are learning in school, don’t worry about the musical part — they’re doing great. Their director is teaching them and they are having fun at the same time.

To the Tarentum Recreation Board, which provided a delicious Christmas meal, program and gifts for the seniors at Dalton’s Edge apartments. This is a yearly Christmas present to us.

To Fun and Freedom Youth Sports, which hosted a Christmas program, complete with gifts, for children at the Polish National Alliance in Natrona Heights and provided a turkey dinner.
