I appreciate all the New Stanton residents who supported me, but I chose not to run for reelection to borough council because of the road council is taking. No one seems to want to hear any other views but their own. I think that when council does anything, all the residents should be kept in mind, not just a handful who might benefit from the action.

The way this council was run over the past year, in my opinion, was wrong. I would suggest people go to meetings to see what’s going on and how your tax dollars are, at times, being wasted.

Council members are elected and paid. Don’t be afraid to ask your council members questions.
