The proposed sports complex for the North Huntingdon public works property, I think, would have a lot of infrastructure hurdles to overcome. The Maple Lane access is narrow and has a 10-ton weight limit. There also is a sinking spot in the road that needs fixed. The Skellytown Road access from Route 30 is a very dangerous intersection, and another traffic light would need to be added there.

I think a better location for the sports complex would be Jeannette. The city has a lot of empty lots, the infrastructure is already there and there already is a traffic light for safe access from Route 30. Plus, the city could really use the funding a sports complex would bring, and the youth would have a place to go to stay out of trouble.
