What a pathetic state this country is in! The Republicans got what they wanted in the bipartisan border deal, and then they shut it down because Donald Trump told them to? From what I read, the Democrats gave in on multiple fronts to get this passed so we could give more funding to Ukraine/Israel. Sounds like how government is supposed to work. Try to negotiate and get as close to the middle as possible.
But no, the chosen one bellows down, this is a bad deal, turn it down, let’s let President Biden suffer until November. Don’t worry about everyone else, just worry about me getting elected. This is a dereliction of duty. Then they want to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas for not doing anything about the border crisis that they don’t want to do anything about? Is this governing?
It is going to take true national leadership to get us there, and it’s not Trump. There’s a reason he’s in trouble, and it’s not because the DOJ is weaponized against him. It’s because he’s a bad person, in my opinion. None of us liked bullies growing up. Why would you like one now?
Quit drinking the Kool-Aid before you end up like a lemming going over the cliff. Please don’t take us with you!
