I am continually amazed by the number of people who either support President Trump or are too blind to see him for what he really is. I refer to Dale Parker’s letter “Can’t understand hatred of Trump” (Feb. 4, TribLIVE). Does Parker not realize that whatever hate is given Trump, Trump himself started spewing hate in his campaign addresses?
From day one, Trump has denounced and denigrated Democrats, Muslims and Latinos, not to mention individuals he has insulted. Trump seems to disparage any and all who disagree or criticize him, or he fires them from their appointed offices.
So people who don’t understand the hate should look back to the old saying: “What goes around comes around.” Trump has brought it all on himself.
Plain and simple: Trump is an egomaniacal, would-be dictator.
