Etna, Millvale council races, Shaler Area School Board race uncontested

The Etna and Millvale council primary races are uncontested, according to the Allegheny County Office of Elections unofficial candidate list.

In Etna Ward 1, Nicholas Behr Leffakis is the only Republican on the ballot for two open spots. Democrats Brad Iannuzzi and Megan Tunon are running for two party nominations.

In Etna Ward 2, Democrat Ronald Trader is running unopposed, and there are no Republican candidates on the ballot.

Etna Ward 3 has Jessica Semler running unopposed on the Democratic ticket and Colleen E. Schaefer running unopposed on the Republican ticket.

In the Millvale council race, four Democrats are running for four nominations for four-year seats : Paul D. Bossung Jr., Katie Dembowski, Denise Rudar and William G. Stout.

Democrat Tyler Halt is the only person on the ballot for the two-year term. There are no Republicans on the ballot for that race.

The race for Shaler Area School Board is also uncontested with all candidates cross-filed.

Jim Tunstall is the only person on the ballot in Region 1.

Jason Machajewski and Eileen Philips are the only candidates in region 2, where voters will select two people for party nominations.

In region 3, there are also two people on the ballot for two spots — James L. Fisher and Dorothy Petrancosta.
