Isabelle Dutkovic, who recently graduated from Shaler Area High School, received a Gold Key award for a personal essay.

Three Shaler Area High School students were honored in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Isabelle Dutkovic, who just completed her senior year, received a Gold Key award for her personal essay “Eldest Daughter Tragedy” and is an American Voice nominee, highlighting her ability to articulate the thoughts and perspective of her generation. Kathryn Luft, who just completed her junior year, received a Gold Key award for her short story “The Bus Stop.” Bella Minyo, who also just completed her junior year, received an Honorable Mention for her short story “The Cherry Lane Ordeal.”

Ripalben Patel graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in May.

Christopher King, Maygen Luce and Carmen LaGamba made the dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University for the spring 2024 semester.

Maxwell Robinson and Ryan Thibault graduated from Westminster College on May 11.

Tyler Albright made the dean’s list at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for the spring 2024 semester.

The following students made the dean’s list at Slipper Rock University for the spring 2024 semester: Anne Beatrice Angeles, Thea Angelica Angele, Sydnee Cruz, Charly Driscoll, Lacey Feidak, Gabriele Geyer, Jack Keenan, Jacob Kolling, David Kondraciuk, Breanna Kucharski, Michael LaBella, Emily McAllister, Tiffany McIntyre, Emmaly McLusky, Andrea Phelps, Harrison Repko, Lilliana Repko, Ella Richards, Abigail Royer, Sydney Ryan, Michaela Scott, Ryan Tegtmeier, Dylan Ulrich, Tristin Viale, Ronald Walkowski, Hannah Warren and Tyler Wennersten.

Madison Ballew has been named to the president’s list at James Madison University for the spring 2024 semester.

Dylan Sarnowski was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester at the University of Mount Union.

Gretchen Kress recently earned a master of business administration degree from Grove City College.

Kelsey Marshall made the president’s list at Shenandoah University for the spring 2024 semester.

Theo Fantozzi made the dean’s list at the University of Rhode Island for the spring 2024 semester.
