The Pittsburgh Penguins’ home game against the Seattle Kraken on Monday has been moved up earlier in the day to avoid an overlap with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ road playoff game against the Buffalo Bills that same day.

Originally scheduled to begin shortly after 6 p.m. Monday, the Penguins-Kraken game will begin after 1 p.m.

Fans may enter PPG Paints Arena at 11:30 a.m.

The Steelers-Bills game was originally scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Sunday but a weather emergency in Western New York forced it to be postponed until Monday at 4:30 p.m.

Four of the Penguins’ games this season have overlapped with a Steelers’ game, all in December or January.

In addition to the Penguins, the opening faceoff of the Buffalo Sabres’ home game with the San Jose Sharks on Monday was also altered. Originally scheduled to begin after 1 p.m., that contest will begin shortly after noon.
