Mother Nature has struck again.

Because of saturated grounds and a cold weather forecast, Lernerville Speedway canceled Friday night’s scheduled Test & Tune session, which was set to kick off the 2021 season.

According to the Weather Channel, temperatures are supposed to reach a low of 21 degrees Friday night in Sarver with a high of just 40 degrees during the day.

Race fans will have to wait another week to hear the roar from Lernerville Speedway as the first Test & Tune session is now rescheduled for April 9. Pits will open at 4 p.m. and rotating hot laps, which will include cars from all divisions, at all area tracks, will run from 6 to 9 p.m.

Grandstands will be free and open to the public while pit passes will be available for $30.

Lernerville Speedway’s official 2021 campaign will begin April 16, which will feature the Fab4 Revved up with Marburger Farm Dairy.
