Forward Sam Poulin scored his first goal of the season for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins who were routed by the rival Hershey Bears, 6-1, at the Giant Center in Hershey on Sunday.

In his season debut, goaltender Garret Sparks was charged with the loss after making 18 saves on 22 shots for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (4-3-0-0), which had a three-game winning streak halted. Goaltender Joel Blomqvist replaced Sparks to open the third period and made five saves on seven shots.
