Minor league report: Nailers edged by Cyclones

Forward Shaw Boomhauer and Nich Hutchison each had a goal and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers in a 6-5 road loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on Wednesday.

Goaltender Stefanos Lekkas made 32 saves on 36 shots for Wheeling (10-7-1) while forward Jared Cockrell recorded two assists.

The Nailers’ next game is a home game against the Cyclones on Saturday, 7:10 p.m.
