Minor league report: Penguins lose to Phantoms in overtime

Forward Tim Schaller had two goals and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins who lost at home to the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms in overtime, 4-3, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Monday.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (5-2-2-1) also got a goal and an assist from forward Josh Currie while forward Drew O’Connor added two assists. Goaltender Shane Starrett made 28 saves on 32 shots in the defeat.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the Syracuse Crunch at 7 p.m. Saturday.
