The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ season came to an end with a 3-2 loss to the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms in Game 2 of an Atlantic Division first-round playoff series at the PPL Center in Allentown on Friday.

Lehigh Valley swept the best-of-three series.

Forward Tristan Broz had a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton while linemate Ville Koivunen recorded two assists.

Goaltender Sergei Murashov, who was recalled from Wheeling of the ECHL on Thursday, made 28 saves on 31 shots in the loss.

Highlights:

The Phantoms will face either the Charlotte Checkers or Hershey Bears in the semifinal round.
