Minor league report: Penguins take down Phantoms

Two goals and an assist by forward Drake Caggiula led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 5-2 road win against the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the PPL Center in Allentown on Sunday.

Forward Jonathan Gruden had a goal and two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (25-26-5-5) while defenseman Jack St. Ivany contributed two assists. Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made 36 saves on 38 saves in the victory.

The Penguins’ next game is a home contest against the Phantoms on Saturday, 6:05 p.m.
