The Penguins are scheduled to start goaltender Tristan Jarry for Tuesday’s home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at PPG Paints Arena.
Coach Mike Sullivan announced Jarry’s status following an optional morning skate.
In 32 games this season, Jarry has a 19-7-3 record, a 2.77 goals against average, a .916 save percentage and one shutout.
Jarry has faced the Blue Jackets in two games this season and has a 2-0-0 record, 2.02 goals against average and a .944 goals against average.
Notes:
• Penguins forward Jake Guentzel is expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday’s game after skipping Monday’s practice as a maintenance day.

Forwards – Guentzel, Evgeni Malkin, Drew O’Connor
Defensemen – P.O Joseph, Dmitry Kulikov, Chad Ruhwedel
Goaltender – Casey DeSmith
• Injured forward Ryan Poehling remains sidelined due to an undisclosed injury that has caused him to miss 25 of the past 38 games.
• Kulikov is expected to make his Penguins debut after being acquired from the Anaheim Ducks via trade on Friday.
• Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson has 99 career points.
• The Blue Jackets are expected to start goaltender Elvis Merzlikins. In 28 games this season, Merzlikins has a 7-17-2 record, a 4.15 goals against average and an .879 save percentage.
