The Pittsburgh Penguins are slated to start goaltender Tristan Jarry for a home game against the Ottawa Senators at PPG Paints Arena Saturday.

In five games this season, Jarry has a 2-3-0 record, a 2.24 goals against average, a .917 save percentage and two shutouts. His most recent outing was a 4-0 home win against the Colorado Avalanche in which he made 31 saves.

Throughout his career, Jarry has faced the Senators in four contests and has a 3-1-0 record, a 2.27 goals against average and a .933 save percentage.

Forward Vinnie Hinostroza and defenseman P.O Joseph skated as reserves.

• Hinostroza and Zohorna were quietly recalled to the NHL roster from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League. Both players were assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday in paper transactions intended to benefit the team’s daily management of the salary cap.

• Nieto has 199 career points.

• The Senators are slated to start Joonas Korpisalo. In five games this season, Korpisalo has a 1-3-0 record, a 3.50 goals against average and an .886 save percentage.

Throughout his career, Korpisalo has played the Penguins in seven games and has a 1-5-1 record, a 3.16 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.

• The Senators enter this contest with three of their incumbent defensemen sidelined due to injury: Erik Brannstrom (undisclosed), Thomas Chabot (right hand) and Artem Zub (undisclosed).

As a result, the Senators recalled defensemen Tyler Kleven and Nikolas Matinpalo from Belleville of the AHL under emergency conditions on Friday. Matinpalo could make his NHL debut while Klevin could make his season debut.
