Penguins forwards Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin to make preseason debuts against Red Wings
The Penguins’ lineup for their third game of the preseason will include most of their top players, including forwards Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
Their scheduled lineup for Tuesday’s home contest against the Detroit Red Wings at PPG Paints Arena includes:
Forwards:- Teddy Blueger, Drake Caggiula, Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel, Kasperi Kapanen, Brock McGinn, Ryan Poehling, Evgeni Malkin, Drew O’Connor, Rickard Rakell, Bryan Rust, Radim Zohorna, Jason Zucker
Defensemen: Brian Dumoulin, Kris Letang, Jeff Petry, Marcus Pettersson, Jan Rutta, Ty Smith
Goaltenders: Casey DeSmith, Tristan Jarry
Additionally, the Penguins cut two players from their training camp roster. Defensemen Isaac Belliveau (Gaitineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and Ryan McCleary (Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League) were assigned to their respective junior teams.
