Recording his second shutout of the tournament, DeSmith remains undefeated (5-0-0).
Penguins forward Nick Bonino, primarily serving as the United States’ top center, logged 17:21 of ice time on 23 shifts, had one shot and was 9 for 16 (56.2%) on faceoffs.
Primarily deployed as the United States’ second-line center, Penguins forward Drew O’Connor clocked 16:21 of ice time on 20 shifts, had two shots and was 4 for 8 (50%) on faceoffs.
