Penguins recall forward Jonathan Gruden from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins recalled rookie forward Jonathan Gruden from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League on Saturday afternoon.
This transaction comes one day after Gruden was assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. According to Cap Friendly, this is the fifth time Gruden has been recalled to the NHL roster this season.
Primarily deployed on the fourth line, Gruden has appeared in nine games this season and has one goal while averaging 8:32 of ice time per contest.
With Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Gruden has played in 41 games and posted 23 points (13 goals, 10 assists).
A left-handed shot, Gruden (6-foot, 172 pounds) is signed to a one-year, two-way contract wit a salary cap hit of $775,000.
