Pirates announce spring training broadcast schedule for Grapefruit League games
The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Thursday that SportsNet Pittsburgh will televise a dozen Grapefruit League home games, as well as their March 11 game against the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, Fla.
The inaugural Spring Breakout game between prospects from the Pirates and Baltimore Orioles at 7 p.m. March 14 at LECOM Park in Bradenton also will be carried exclusively on SportsNet Pittsburgh+, which also will broadcast the March 24 game against the New York Yankees.
The Pirates’ flagship, 93.7 FM, sister stations 100.1 FM and 1020 AM and the Pirates Radio Network collectively will cover 16 spring training games. Nine games are available as webcasts at Pirates.com.

Only the split-squad games against the Atlanta Braves in North Port on March 8 and 16 will not be broadcast on television, radio or the team website. Instead, SportsNet Pittsburgh will carry the Pirates-Minnesota Twins game from Bradenton on March 8 and the Pirates-Detroit Tigers game from Bradenton on March 16.
Fans can stream all of the televised games live by downloading the SportsNet Pittsburgh (SNP) app on their mobile device and authenticating with their TV provider. More information is available at www.GetSNP.com.
