INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 42-49) was battered by Iowa (Cubs), 7-1. LHP Cam Alldred (5-3, 4.81) started and allowed five runs on five hits, including two homers, in 4.1 innings. RHP Travis MacGregor (2.35) gave up a run on three hits in 1.2 innings. RHP Brad Case (18.00) pitched a scoreless eighth. Indianapolis batters were held to three hits and struck out 14 times. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.235) went 1 for 2 with his 12th homer and a walk. Rodolfo Castro (.143) went 1 for 4 with two strikeouts. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.253) went 1 for 3 and struck out twice.

Next: Thursday at Iowa (Cubs), 7:38 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 40-42) was beaten by Reading (Phillies), 8-2. 2B Claudio Finol (.256) went 3 for 4 with his third home run. LF Matt Fraizer (.259) was 2 for 5 with an RBI and his 16th stolen base. RHP Aaron Shortridge (5-6, 5.16) started and gave up five runs on six hits, including three home runs, in 5.2 innings. He walked one and struck out one. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (6.75) threw a scoreless inning.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 42-41) blew out Wilmington (Nationals), 12-3. LF Tres Gonzalez (.292) went 3 for 6 with two doubles and two RBIs. C Eli Wilson (.225) went 2 for 5, doubled twice and drove in three runs. 2B Maikol Escotto (.210) went 2 for 5 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI. CF Luke Brown (.190) went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. DH Jase Bowen (.260) was 2 for 4 with a triple and three runs scored. RHP Jake Stevenson (1.23) started and threw three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out three with no walks. RHP Valentin Linarez (1-5, 5.01) pitched 2.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win. RHP Michell Miliano (3.67) worked two scoreless innings and RHP Jack Carey (5.40) threw a scoreless ninth.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 50-35) rallied from an eary 4-0 deficit for a 9-6 win over Fort Myers (Twins). RF Enmanuel Terrero (.280) went 1 for 5 with his seventh homer. 1B Nick Cimillo (.277) went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI. C Omar Alfonzo (.255) went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI. 2B Termarr Johnson (.251) went 1 for 3 with an RBI. RHP Sergio Umana (1-0, 2.08) gave up one run on two hits in two innings of relief to earn the win. LHP Julian Bosnic (3.52) pitched two perfect innings.
