INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 74-73) struck out 12 times at the plate and was hammered by Columbus (Guardians), 17-1. DH Brendt Citta (.265) knocked in the only Indianapolis run in the fourth with a double. LF Blake Sabol (.307) went 2 for 3 and scored on the Citta double, and 1B Mason Martin (.212) went 1 for 3 with a single. 2B Aaron Shackelford (.083), CF Travis Swaggerty (.255) and 3B Malcom Nunez (.231) each went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts while SS Tucupita Marcano (.299) struck out once and went 0 for 4. Starter RHP Osvaldo Bido (3-8, 4.53) was rocked to the tune of five runs on six hits with three strikeouts and three home runs allowed in 1.1 innings. LHP Cam Alldred (4.07) fared no better, going 1.2 innings and also allowing five runs on four hits, walking two, striking out three and giving up two home runs. LHP Zach Matson (5.44) allowed only one run on four hits and struck out three in three innings of work. LHP Dillon Peters (1.17) struck out one and allowed one hit in one inning. RHP Travis MacGregor (7.25) went one inning and allowed four hits and six runs, two earned, walking one, striking out one and giving up a home run.
