The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Monday that 13 players have received non-roster invitations to their major league camp for spring training, including several relievers who have pitched out of their bullpen.

Right-handers Isaac Mattson, Yohan Ramirez and Hunter Stratton will be among the familiar faces when pitchers and catchers report Feb. 12 to Pirate City in Bradenton, Fla.

A Pitt product, Mattson posted a 5.06 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with six strikeouts and five walks in 5 1/3 innings over three appearances last season. Stratton was 2-1 with a 3.26 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 44 appearances over two seasons before rupturing the patella tendon in his left knee when sliding into the stone wall behind home plate to field a ball last August. Ramirez was 4-1 with a 3.67 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 48 appearances over two seasons with the Pirates in 2022-23 but spent last season with the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox.

The Pirates also have invited veteran righties Carson Fulmer, Tanner Rainey, Yerry Rodrigueza and Burch Smith, as well as minor leaguer Eddy Yean, who was acquired from Washington in the Josh Bell trade in December 2020. They will be joined by position players that include catcher Abrahan Gutierrez; infielders Darick Hall, Malcom Nunez and Nick Solak; and outfielder Bryce Johnson.
