Robert Morris’ Isabella Posset led the Northeast Conference with 2.3 steals per game last season.

The Robert Morris women’s basketball team’s season opener Sunday was canceled amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The Colonials were scheduled to play Norfolk State on Saturday, but the game was postponed until Sunday. The game was then canceled.

“The health and safety of the RMU and Moon Township community remains paramount as RMU Athletics continues to follow university, local, state, and national guidelines in response to the global pandemic,” RMU Athletics said in a news release.

Robert Morris’ scheduled Horizon Conference opener at Clevaland State on Dec. 12 and 13 also was canceled.

The Colonials are now scheduled to open Horizon League action Dec. 19 at home against Milwaukee.
