Steelers OLB Alex Highsmith does not practice; DTs Cameron Heyward, Larry Ogunjobi get rest
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Alex Highsmith would be “leaning in on a return” after missing two games with an injury, but the outside linebacker is leaning closer to not playing Sunday at Cincinnati.
Highsmith (left ankle) did not practice Wednesday, per the league-mandated injury report. Three veteran linemen rested, as left guard Isaac Seumalo and defensive tackle Cameron Heyward did not practice and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi was a limited participant.
Two players on injured reserve were full participants in practice: Defensive tackle Montravius Adams, out since Oct. 22 with a knee injury, and cornerback Cory Trice Jr. (hamstring).
