With Pitt and Penn State meeting on the gridiron for the 100th and possibly last time, a big screen is being set up outdoors in Oakland to watch the game.

The big screen will be located at Forbes Digital Plaza at the corner of Forbes Avenue and South Bouquet Street for the noon kickoff Saturday.

The showing is free and open to the public. Lawn furniture will be provided by UPMC, or you can bring your own chair.

Fans can also bring food and beverages, but alcohol is not permitted.

Watching on the big screen in Oakland is not only a great way to avoid the 100,000 hostile Penn State fans in Happy Valley, but traffic as well.

PennDOT is warning of potential delays drivers could encounter as they travel to the game in Centre County throughout the day Friday and again on Saturday morning. The problem is compounded by a single-lane restriction for eastbound traffic on U.S. 22 in the Monroeville area. Restriction hours are from 8 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday.
