More postseason honors have rolled in for Washington & Jefferson baseball standout Tyler Horvat.
What hasn’t the Penn-Trafford graduate won?
Horvat, a pitcher and outfielder, became the first player in the history of the W&J program to earn three All-America honors when he made D3Baseball.com First Team All-America, the second time in his career he made the first team.
A day after those plaudits found him, Horvat was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America Second Team.
What is most impressive about Horvat is that he has gone around the horn and finished his career as a five-time All-American.
Horvat also made the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region First Team as a utility player.
Horvat recently was selected to the D3Baseball.com First Team, the third time his his career he made that all-region team.
He had 11 pitching wins, a 3.86 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 93 1/3 innings and finished 29-4 in his career with a 2.71 ERA. His win total is a school record.
