First Energy Stadium is home to the Cleveland Browns.

The Pittsburgh Penguins won’t be the only members of the organization heading outdoors during the 2022-23 season.

Their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, will face the Cleveland Monsters at First Energy Stadium in Northeast Ohio at 1 p.m. March 4.

The contest, which has been dubbed as the Cleveland Monsters Outdoor Classic, was announced Tuesday.

First Energy Stadium is home of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns. The capacity for the venue is listed as 67,895.

The Monsters are the AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

This will be the second outdoor game in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s history. Previously, the AHL Penguins faced the rival Hershey Bears in the AHL Outdoor Classic at Hersheypark Stadium on Jan. 20, 2013. The Penguins won that game, 2-1, in overtime.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are scheduled to face the Boston Bruins in the NHL’s Winter Classic at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, on Jan. 2.
